What are Prism lenses?

Ophthalmic prism lenses are special ophthalmic lenses with triangular prism element. They are prescribed by optometrists and infused into regular lens prescriptions. They can be effective visual aids used to manage vision conditions, such as double vision and other binocular vision difficulties. The prism refracts light (changing the direction of light). It helps align the two images, so the double vision and other binocular vision symptoms, such as headaches, reading difficulties, will be alleviated.
