1. Vision and Refraction Assessment
At our center, we offer eye exams for both adults and children aged four and above. During the exam, we assess visual acuity (clarity of vision) and identify any refractive errors, such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, or presbyopia. For children under the age of ten, our experienced optometrists may perform a short or long cycloplegic refraction, depending on individual needs, to achieve the most precise results.
Parents have the option to choose whether or not to administer eye drops for cycloplegic refraction in children, as recommended by an optometrist.

2. Squint / Crossed-eyes Assessment
By evaluating the synchronization between both eyes, any issues with squinting or other problems with muscles outside of the eyes can be identified. The use of visual training management can enhance the binocular coordination of the eyes.

We will offer consultation and advice for individuals who exhibit signs of color vision deficiency.

4. Ocular Health Assessment + Digital Fundus Photography
A comprehensive examination of the eye's cornea, crystalline lens, retina, macula, and intraocular pressure will be conducted utilizing specialized ophthalmic equipment. If necessary, eye drops will be used to dilate pupils for peripheral retinal examination. Mydriatic or cycloplegic drops may be used on children over 3 years old, as needed. The use of digital fundus photography will provide improved monitoring for conditions like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and degenerative myopia.

5. Macular cross-sectional scan OCT
Our team at EYE.hk will conduct a thorough examination of your central retina (macula) using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). This cutting-edge technology allows us to take cross-sectional scans of your eye, providing detailed and comprehensive insight into your ocular health. With OCT, we can identify a variety of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macula edema and more. Think of OCT as an "optical ultrasound" that gives us a detailed picture of your eye's internal structures.
6. Axial length (AXL) measurement (Optical biometry)
In simple terms, axial length (AXL) refers to the size of the eyeball, which can be measured through optical biometry. AXL is strongly associated with myopia, with a 1mm increase indicating a -2.50D worsening of myopia. Moreover, a longer axial length implies a greater likelihood of developing eye diseases in the future. EYE.hk optometrists can conduct AXL measurements to offer a more thorough evaluation of myopia progression and the risk of potential eye ailments.

In our center, we fit specialty contact lenses, such as rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, hybrid lenses and scleral lenses.
9. Health Care Voucher
