Dr. Forrest Ng graduated from the School of Optometry at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2002. Following graduation, he worked as a researcher and clinical supervisor at the university. In 2008 and 2009, Dr. Ng was awarded the Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry in Anaheim, Southern California, and obtained his PhD in Optometry, respectively.

Since 2012, Dr. Ng has been appointed as a part-time lecturer at the School of Optometry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has also served as a member of the Education Committee of the Optometrists Board under the Department of Health and as the treasurer of The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists. Currently, Dr. Ng is a part-time clinical associate supervising optometry students at the School of Optometry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Ng specializes in specialty contact lens fitting, orthokeratology (OK lenses), and keratoconus management. Combining clinical practice with research, he is dedicated to providing personalized eye care solutions for patients with various ocular conditions, with particular expertise in corneal irregularities and myopia control.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ng has been actively involved in teaching and research, nurturing local optometry talent and striving to elevate the standard of eye care services in Hong Kong. His contributions to professional development and public awareness of eye health have been significant, particularly through his roles in the Optometrists Board and professional optometry societies.

Dr. Ng’s solid academic background, including his Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry and PhD, complements his rich clinical expertise. He remains committed to advancing optometry practice and innovation in Hong Kong, with a special focus on myopia control and clinical management of corneal diseases, delivering comprehensive and professional eye care services to his patients.

Dr. Samuel Law is currently a Visiting Clinical Associate at the School of Optometry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He specializes in orthokeratology (OK lenses) and scleral lens fitting, combining extensive clinical experience with a strong research background to provide professional and personalized eye care. Dr. Law is particularly skilled in designing and managing complex corneal-shaped contact lenses.

Dr. Law obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Optometry from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Following graduation, he engaged in research and served as a part-time clinical supervisor at the School of Optometry. In 2010, he earned his PhD in Optometry, and in 2011, he was appointed as a full-time instructor responsible for teaching the Bachelor of Optometry program.

Dr. Law was awarded Fellowship of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA), reflecting his expertise and commitment to advancing contact lens practice. He actively participates in both local and international optometry professional exchanges, promoting the development of optometry education and clinical services in Hong Kong.

Dr. Law is also a member of The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists, where he contributes to the growth of the local optometry profession and the enhancement of public eye health awareness.

Mr. Fung Kai Yin is currently a Visiting Clinical Associate at the School of Optometry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He specializes in orthokeratology (OK lenses) and the screening and management of diabetic retinopathy. With extensive clinical experience and professional expertise, Mr. Fung is dedicated to providing early detection and assessment of diabetic retinopathy for patients with diabetes, utilizing advanced optometric technologies to improve their visual health.

Mr. Fung graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After years of private practice, he returned to the university to engage in teaching, research, and project-related work. He earned his Master of Optometry degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013.

In 2010, Mr. Fung joined the Hospital Authority, where he was responsible for conducting diabetic retinopathy assessments, gaining valuable clinical experience in managing this critical condition.

Since 2004, Mr. Fung has served as a clinical supervisor at the School of Optometry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also became a part-time Visiting Lecturer at the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE), teaching courses related to contact lens fitting and contributing to the development of skilled professionals in the industry.

Mr. Fung is an active member of The Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists and is committed to advancing local optometry education and enhancing public awareness of visual health.

Optometrist Henry Ng holds dual master’s degrees in Optometry and Applied Psychology (Diverse Learning Needs) and has over 20 years of professional experience. His guiding philosophy is “Seeing Happiness” and he is dedicated to providing sincere and professional care to help every client see the beauty in life. In recent years, Henry Ng has actively studied mindfulness, promoting physical and mental well-being, with the hope that everyone can “see the world through their eyes and explore it with their heart,” appreciating every moment of life.

Throughout his career, Henry Ng has worked in various organizations, including the Hong Kong Society for the Blind and private optometry centers, accumulating extensive clinical experience. He specializes in children’s visual development, myopia management, and elderly eye health care. Committed to promoting comprehensive eye examinations, Henry Ng strives to ensure that everyone can enjoy not only healthy vision but also a happier life.
