In urban environment, the prevalence of shortsightedness (myopia) is a significant issue. It is generally believed to be "nature & nurture" related problem. We know that by use of ordinary optical aids such as spectacles may solve vision problem, but it cannot help to stop or retard the progress of myopia. Nowadays, children and teenagers are gifted to have alternative options. It is called MiSight, the myopia control soft contact lens[1].

MiSight is a evolutionary breakthrough in myopia managemnet concept. In most of scientific researches, MiSight is proofed as simple and effective measure to control myopia in 75% of children by 30%[1].

"Myopia Management System™" is an optometric treatment strategy. By use of ActivControlR Technology, MiSight can alter the way children read and see[1]. It is safe and suitable to most myopic and non-myopic children[2].

ActivControlR Technology can generate myopic-control optical defocus at the peripheral Treatment Zone and provide clear image at the central Fovea. This strategy has been proofed to be effective in myopic control [1].
